Supernatural Season 15 Episode 1 "Back and To The Future" Review

The Winchester Brothers verifying their odds against the apocalypse

"Welcome to the End", when Chuck A.K.A God announces the apocalypse and our Team Free Will struck amidst of a Zombie army, it took like two days for me to get out of that effect. It looks like this time it might take a week to recover. So get this (Like Sammy), this is the last season premiere of Supernatural, and the team delivered one of the best in recent times. It is better than the Season 14 and 13 premieres in terms of creating the horror, and tense factors. But I find Amara's apocalypse in season 11 premiere stands out to score the merit.

With the fabulous Bob Seger’s “The Famous Final Scene” playing in the backdrop, The Winchester brothers and their angel buddy are besieged by the afresh possessed bodies of the fallen. They had to lock themselves up along with the body of Jack in a tomb to escape from the dead. But no vessel stays empty forever in Supernatural, as Jack's body was possessed but snarky yet sassy demon Belphegor. This version of Jack will get instant acceptance from hardcore fans like me. He even referred to Crowley Jr, which I find a little difficult to accept.

Even the Winchester brothers had their issues to fight. Dean is still angry with Castiel and finds hard to accept the Death of his Kid Jack. Sam Winchester still trying to heal from the wound, when he tried to Shoot the god. In the case of Ghosts, we find some familiar faces like Bloody Mary, The Killer Clown, and also Women in White. The Episode ends with the dialogue "We got Work to do", which actually matches their current situation, As both Sam and Dean Winchesters were against 2 to 3 billion souls.

Good:
  1. Jack Kline/Belphegor 2.0
  2. The whole escape thing from the Graveyard,
  3. Dean Winchester referring Jack as his kid,
  4. Sam and Castiel's fight against the ghosts.

Bad:
  1. No news about Chuck or Michael or Adam,
  2. Woman in white is not that scary when compared to the pilot.

An interesting takeaway from the episode "Back And To The Future" is when Cas tries to heal Sam from the wound of Equalizer, Sam had flashes, in which we get a glimpse of Samifier? and I am sure that he is gonna fight Michael who occupies Dean's vessel.

As Sam proceeds to close the trunk, we get a flash of Pilot episode's Sam and Dean Winchester, which made me scream. The show has come a long way till here, and I am excited how they are gonna end their battle against the Big bad Chuck.

My Rating : ****

Comments

  1. I have to agree, it was exactly what we would want to see from Sam and Dean. Somehow, it sets the tone for the rest of the season, a season where each and every episode will count towards an amazing and explosive end.

Supernatural Season 15 Episode 3 " The Rupture" Review

Warning : Huge Spoilers Ahead . After an explosive Premiere and an excellent second episode, Supernatural is back in playing to its strengths which is killing off the characters. Not one, Not two, but three characters had bid their farewell to the series in a single episode. After waking up in the hospital, Ketch is engaged by a demon who is looking for Belphagor. The demon is certain that Ketch knows Belphagor’s whereabouts and is denying to talk as he was protecting his friends. The former Men of Letters agent announces that he won’t give up his pals “not at any price,” to which the demon rips out his heart as a response. The second death of the episode is an expected one but not this early, Belphagor. This sassy demon who is occupying Jack's body turns out a wannabe Lilith/Crowley. He manipulates the team free will by explaining about Lilith's horn which helps them to suck back all the souls to hell. Since Chuck just stomped and cracked a hole in the hell a...

JUSTICE LEAGUE TRAILER REVIEW

Justice League Official Poster Flash: 'So, what is your superpower again?' Batman: I'm RICH After listening to this dialogue in Justice League Trailer I can finally say that DCEU is changing. The trailer is the perfect collaboration of DC Comics and Warner Bros where it brings out certain raw and dark aura. While there's no glimpse or appearance from the Man of Steel at all. Every one is good in their characters. Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra miller perfectly fit for their.  Jason Momoa is hottest Aquaman  i've ever seen The soundtrack by the White Stripes' "The Hardest Button to Button" and a hard-rock rendition of the Beatles' "Come Together." perfectly In-Sync with the Cut. I am dying to watch it in 3D Check Out the Trailer below , P.S: I would like to ask the VFX team kindly to re-check the design of Cyborg as it literally reduced my interest by 50%.

PASSENGERS REVIEW

PASSENGERS REVIEW BOTTOM LINE : Visually attractive film over run by cliché script Passengers a space drama directed by Morten Tyldum and written by Jon Spaihts. Star cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy García. The story is all about a spaceship called Avalon which is on it’s course of journey towards Homestead 2 and two passengers who woke up 90 years earlier. When it comes to performances Chris pratt nails his character with perfection but it is Jennifer Lawrence who steals the thunder with her expressions and beauty. Michael sheen has displayed impeccable timing as Android bartender. The 3d Effects are good for that provided budget but it is the direction that spoils the game as I disconnected with the film during last 15 mins. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in Passengers Film THUMBS UP  :  Chris Pratt   Jennifer Lawrence ...
