My Forecast For Academy Awards 2017 The below predictions are made according to my knowledge and information i gathered. If u have any suggestions and comments do share with me. Also not forget to mention me if i left out any categories or movies. l BEST PICTURE  : Winner : La La Land Strong Contender : Moonlight Surprise/Shocker : Manchester by the sea It is all clear that La La Land is going to win thought Moonlight will try to give it’s best shot. The Surprise winner may be Manchester by the sea.   La La LAnd l BEST ACTOR : Winner : Casey Affleck (Manchester by the sea) Strong Contender : Ryan Gosling (La La Land) Surprise/Shocker : Denzel Washington (Fences) In case of Best actor it is tough to bet on it as Casey and Ryan go neck to neck. Year 2016  had been a great and spectacular year for film industry. Now i was looking forward for these movies in  2k17. This list consists of comic based movies, Thrillers and Musical. PASSENGERS REVIEW BOTTOM LINE : Visually attractive film over run by cliché script Passengers a space drama directed by Morten Tyldum and written by Jon Spaihts. Star cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy García. The story is all about a spaceship called Avalon which is on it’s course of journey towards Homestead 2 and two passengers who woke up 90 years earlier. When it comes to performances Chris pratt nails his character with perfection but it is Jennifer Lawrence who steals the thunder with her expressions and beauty. Michael sheen has displayed impeccable timing as Android bartender. The 3d Effects are good for that provided budget but it is the direction that spoils the game as I disconnected with the film during last 15 mins.
