The Final midseason finale is finally here, ( I am so broken) which once again brings some of the fan-favorite characters back to the show. Supernatural gave one hell of a holiday gift before going into the winter break. Thursday's midseason finale found Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) visiting hell and landing right in front of a well-known, and queen of hell Rowena (Ruth Connell). As we all know that she sacrificed herself to close the rupture created by Chuck.
This episode finally brings the most awaited reunion we all are waiting for, The three Winchester brothers in a single frame. It took almost 10 years and a rupture to bring Earth one's Michael and Adam back on track. It is very good to see Jake Abel after a decade portraying the same character. Here Adam and Michael have come to a certain agreement to managing the driving seat. First of all great job dialogue department as every line uttered by Michael in this episode will be a memorable one.
The team free will took their time to make Michael believe about Chuck a.k.a God. as Cas forcibly bestows him the memories of what God has done. That ultimately gets Michael to come around and agree to assist them in locking up God. He gives Dean and Cas the necessary spell — but there’s an obstacle as one of the ingredients, nectar from a leviathan blossom, can only be found in purgatory. So, Michael opens a door for 12 hours through which Cas and Dean enter into Purgatory once again after Season 8. Meanwhile, Sam and Eileen have gone to help her friend in cleaning a vampire nest, but it turns out that the buddy is God.

On the whole, one of the best Midseason finales of the Series, I rate it better than the Season 14th and 13th ones. Can't wait to watch ( I have to wait like 5 weeks Oh! man) what's in the store with God, and how Dean and Cas will manage to get out of the Purgatory.
My Rating : ****.5
